Today is the day when the moon, the beautiful moon will be more big, more bright than the ordinary days.

This can also be said as "The Super moon" because this awesome moment happens once after every 1 year, 1 month and 18 days. Scientifically it is also known as "perigee" that means "The Super moon".

Today, the moon will be only 356989 km far from the Earth, which is the all time lowest distance from the earth. The moon will be 30% big and 14% brighter than the ordinary days. The moon will be far from the sun  which makes it more cool, more beautiful.

The astrologers are saying that it will affect on the zodiac that are related with water. The mental hospitals are given alert on this day because it will cause more effect on mentally disturbed people, and these people can also try for the suicide, so special care is taken on this day.

In December 2004, there was a terrifying earthquake in Indonesia. It was also considered as the effect of the super moon because it was completely coincidental.

In March 2011, there was a serious tsunami attack in Japan, which destroyed many buildings and lots of people were died. and coincidentally it was the day when the super moon was shining in the sky and some blamed this super moon for this whole destruction. But once again it was completely coincidental, and in actual there was  no relation between the tsunami and the super moon
